We saw lots of brides today. One bride came in an hour early for her appointment after having been to another shop that was not a good experience for her. She just flew in from Peru and her mother-in-law came in from Boston to help her find a dress for NEXT Saturday! They allowed us to “do our thing” and help her try on many different styles.
Her favorite was one size too large, but we called Bonny Bridal in California and they rushed through one size smaller that I had ordered months ago. We made the UPS truck by five minutes. Thanks Shelley! The dress will be in Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and Stitched Specialties has graciously agreed to have the alterations done in time.
Another bride came back in during this rush and we were able to add her dress to that order. So, Tuesday it is.
Bonny Bridal out of California has allowed me to pre-order many dresses. This has allowed me to obtain dresses for brides with wedding dates that are near. (This is a standard Utah thing.) We are trying to keep up with the demand, but if you are planning a wedding in the next six months, please come in now!
